Sugar Pea Designs - Spare Me

There is still a week left to play in the  7 Kids College Fund  challenge!  So come on over and join the fun!

I think we all have had those times, where we might have said or did something we wished we didn't say or do.  We really want to apologize and search for the words to say were sorry.  Well, this cutie stamp set from Sugar Pea puts a little bit of humor into it for us!  I love it! Saying your sorry, but trying to make them smile at the same time. The card that inspire me was created by Mary from Sugar Pea Designs design team - her blog - : http://maryjdesigns.blogspot.co.uk.  I just love this image with this sentiment and had to recreate it myself! There are several other sentiments in the stamp set - Let the good times roll, Your right up my ally, Strike up some fun, Your a great roll model, and more! You could even put "I forgot your birthday, sorry for being such a pin head!  Perfect!

After I cut out the pins, I coated them with Versamark Ink Pad and embossed with Clear Super Fine Embossing Powder from Ranger, which gave them a sturdiness to stand on the lane.

Crafty Individuals - Feathered Friends

Happy Wednesday! I would like to invite you to join our bi-weekly 7 Kids College Fund Challenge! Come see all the designers awesome creations and enter one of your own to win a $20.00 gift certificate. There is a catch though - you must use an image or stamp that is sold at 7 Kids College Fund Store. There are so many stamp companies including Stampendous, C.C.Design, LaLaLand to name just a few.

Today, I choose to use Crafty Individuals - Feather Friend to color and create a card which was fun and easy to create. I dab the middle of the flowers with Stickles to add some sparkle!

Supplies

Die Cuts - Memory Box
Copic Markers for coloring
Cutterpillar Pro ABS

I would also like to brag about one of my new paper cutter from 7 Kids! I purchased the Cutterpillar Pro ABS several months ago and love, love this cutter. It cuts the paper so smoothly - you never have jagged or rough edges no matter how fine of the cut. The back lighting allows you to see exactly where you have the paper lined up to trim, which is another plus! You don't have to worry about the blade going dull - "The CutterPillar's two-blade mechanism allows the rotary blade to pass against the stationary blade at the edge of the cutting surface, much like a pair of scissors.  This helps keep the blades sharp.  In fact, we have found that our cuts actually become cleaner and more precise the more we use our CutterPillars."

I would definitely buy it again!

Newton's Nook - Hanging Around

Hello! I hope everyone is having as a beautiful day as we are here in Maryland! The sun is shining and it's warm with a summer breeze - what more could you ask for?!

Today, I created my card using Newton's Nook - Hanging Around. Perfect card for a friend or family member who is having some difficulties in life - it will make them smile. This stamp set is so versatile - you can use it for a number of occasions. "Let's Hang Out," and "Hi," are the other two sentiments.

I am sitting here laughing,  I originally colored a possum brown to hang from the tree and when my hubby saw it he said, "Possum's are grey," I said mine was a mutant possum and that's why"Hang in there," is the sentiment! But, I looked it up and possums can be white, grey or sometimes brown!

To color the sky I cut out a Nestability Large Classic Scallop Oval and sprayed painted with Copic B-93.
