Happy Thursday Everyone

I have lots to share with you so I will keep everything else short!! (I hear you clapping!)  Did you know The Outlawz who has seven different weekly challenges was having a summer party? First I would like to share with you a card I made using ........from the SCACD Carmen Medlin collection design exclusively for SCACD "Sitting Pretty"  I just love her for her delicate poise and elegant dress. She sure is pretty and I had lots of fun coloring her.  I kept my card very simple with a Martha Stewart Border punch, embossed with cuttlebug folder, and a bow from stash.

The Natural Beauty Collection Release

Hello Happy Crafters!! Today is the day you all have been waiting for the “Natural Beauty Collection”  created by Carmen Medlin exclusively for Susana's SCACD Stamp store!! Yeahhhh! Day 3 Sneak Peek for SCACD! Carmen Medlin

    Day 2 Sneak Peek for SCACD! Carmen Medlin

    Hello my dear friends!! How was your weekend? Sunday the sun finally came out and I was able to plant all of my flowers!! I bought the bigger potted plants this year so it was instant beauty!! Do you know what makes flowers, grass, house plants gorgeous??  I am serious my ivy plant leaves are as big as my DH hands and he is 6'2, violets are blooming even in the winter! Don't laugh ... it's worm poop!! Honestly it makes anything grow like crazy!! They feed millions of worms premium organic waste and then liquify their poop!  I use TerraCycle! You used to be able to buy it in Home Depot but it is getting harder and harder to find and I started buying it directly from the company online. They use recycle pop (soda) bottles and it's all natural! Ok, quit laughing!!

     Today I also made a card with an oldie but goodie stamp from SCACD! This is Carousel Dreams by Elisabeth Bell exclusively for SCACD Stamp Store,   one of my favorites to put on my granddaughters birthday cards. Isn't she/he just gorgeous! Believe it or not one of my favorite rides at the amusement parks is the carousel!!! I run to the horse that goes up and down the most just like a little kid!  Sorry my picture is a tad dark...I even tried lightening it in Photoshop and it made it look to wash out.

    Day Late

    Hello happy crafters! How are Y'll doing? Sorry I haven't been around for the past week. It's been rather busy here. We went to Pittsburgh on Friday for Mother's Day at my daughters and returned late Sunday night. Monday and yesterday  I couldn't wake up!!! It's like the lights went out in Maryland for two days! We got our third new mattress which is a Tempurpedic "Cloud"  and I think we finally scored a home run with this one! I just can't wake up! It feels wonderful not waking up with a million aches and pains too! So another chapter closed in the Holmes house!

    I am posting three cards today!!  I had the pleasure of coloring this adorable angel sitting on a fawn!! Isn't she so sweet and love in the eyes of the fawn is precious! This stamp is "Forest Fairy" created by Victoria Case for SCACD Stamp store!! I love it!!

    Mothers Day

    Hello happy crafters!! May is here and flowers and trees are blooming and I am loving it!  For those that follow me regularly our new Tempurpedic "Cloud" Mattress arrives later today wahooo! I cannot wait for it will be our third mattress in the past 5 months and I am so hoping it is our last. I don't know maybe I am crazy but I think if you pay over 2000.00 for a mattress it should automatically be comfortable and they were not! If you are thinking of going this route...I highly suggest purchasing only from a place that gives you 90 - 120 trial. It is costing us 175.00 to swap out but if your miserable it is well worth it. This is another upgrade so if it is not comfortable for 3500.00 just shoot me and do it quickly!!


    Ok, I am going to talk very frank and open here and if one person hears and listens to me....It will be so worth it. 13 years ago I had a colon-resection due to diverticulitis. This surgery saved my life for they found colon cancer in it's early stage.  I had treatment and have been cancer free all these years. I go every single year for it is so important for early detection. The longer you wait the more it spreads and the less colon they can save and it will metastasize outside of the colon and spread to other organs.  I am having a little bit of problems on my way for another screening. It's a pain in the butt to do, literally but so worth the outcome. Please for you and your family have your screenings done. Please if you don't do it for you...do it for your love ones.

    Now happier things!!! Last week I was commissioned to make 15 cards and family members with birthdays and of course Mother's Day! Part of my order is for 9 Mother Day's Cards and I would love to share these two with you!! Isn't she a cutie pie!
