Blessed Easter!

Boring day so made another card. This one is for Easter!  Doesn't it seem Christmas was just here? LOL. I don't care what comes next as long as Spring is with it!

DT paper: My Minds Eyes; Luah, Pink Damask.  Sentiment: Impression Obsession/Alesa Baker Design.  Flowers Prima and Brads "My Minds Eye"  Corners were cut with Frisker corner punch, Bow made with Bow Easy and everything was sprayed with Tater Angels, glimmer mist in Rose Tea. The Bow Easy, Rose, Prima flowers, Tater Angels and Charm which says : Follow Your Heart  can be purchased at Any comments good or constructive are welcome.

Enjoy Lifes Simple Pleasures

It's Sunday already! Gosh where does the time go? The snow is starting to melt, but we still have over 18 inches of it on the ground.  I am so sick of white...I want some color!!

Today's card is "Just Friends" Oh my gosh this stamp reminds me so much of one of granddaughters, Abbie who loves all animals and flowers. She even likes snakes and let me tell you .....she did not get that from her grandmother. Oh heck no, I can't even stand worms!

Stamp "Just Friends" by Elisabeth Bell made exclusively for Susana Custom Art and Card Design. which you can find here.
She was stamped on Couture Card Stock "One shot wonder"  I love to color with Copic's on this card stock. Your ink stays wet a little bit longer, which gives you time to blend better. DP and brad: Luxurious Basics by "My Mind's Eye" Nestabilities small circles and oval dyes, Copic markers:  pants; E31, E35, E41, Shirt;: BG15, BG13. BG 11, BG10, Hair: :E35,E31,YR20,YR21. I spritz the Prima Flowers with vanilla Smooch Spritz.. Sentiments; Impression Obssession.

Thanks for looking and have a great day, Colleen

It"s Thursday!

One more day until Friday! Today I went and got a perm which I haven't done for over a year...I was over it for every time I curled it, a half hour later it would be totally straight again. It looks good but won't really know until I do it!

Today's card is Telly! From High Hopes Rubber Stamps. I love her! I would love to take the credit for the "I'd rather be stamping" but I saw it somewhere in my many travels of searching on the web. It is the perfect saying for it!!  Paper is Basic Gray "Origins" Telly is colored with Copics, Crayola Color Pencils and Chalk. I added Diamond Glaze to her boots and stickles to her hair bows. The saying was computer generated! You will probably see more of Tilly in the future for I had a lot of fun doing this card!

Snow Snow and more snow

YUCK! It is no longer a winter wonderland. It a white out! It has been snowing continuously since 4 pm yesterday and so far we have an accumulation of 40 plus inches. Winds are 40 -60 miles per hour. Not a day for human or beast. Going to see if we have bird seed in basement. They are flying around looking for food. So dang sad. This is the tree in the front yard. Snow up to the branches.

Getting started

Hi Everyone!

Tonight is the beginning of my first blog and not really sure if I am doing this correctly so bear with me!  Last week we got 30 inches of snow and tonight we are getting an additional 20 inches. WOW! YIKES! That is 50 inches total and I am only 60 inches high. I guess I better buy me some 12 inch wedge boots! Can you even imagine 50 inches? Slap me on the side of the head next time I say "Let It Snow" for I am ready for some colors instead of all this white. Thank goodness this is February and not least I know Spring is somewhere .... hopefully near future!

Since this is my first listing I am going to upload several cards I have made in the past. Sorry no real details. I use Copics to color and promise starting  next week I will add all the details I use to make a card. Please leave comments rather good or bad for I think constructive criticism is what allows us to grow!
