Bird Crazy by Tim Holtz - Halloween

LOL my hubby turned 60 yesterday and now he tries to tell me he is too old to do things!! HAHA NOT. Men are so funny when they're sick - the world has to stop - well not that extreme. You ladies know what I am talking about! Anyway he didn't want any fuss and it's kind of hard to do birthday parties with our five kids - they are spread all over the US and my mom is in Arizona - but he has ME!!! LOL But you could see each time the phone rang or he opened a card the smile big and wide on his face. God love him!:)

A new 7 Kids College Fund challenge started today and until the end of the year - each theme is going to be "Anything Goes.!"  To win the $20.00 gift certificate you must use a stamp that 7 Kids sells. So come on and join the fun!.

When I saw the Crazy Birds from Tim Holtz - I feel in love with them. I have all the birds, accessories and all the die cuts to go with each stamp set.  This birdie here I happened to like the lease but perfect for a Halloween character. The sentiment was made up by my hubby! He's really good at giving me ideas. There are times that I have to remind him that I AM NOT Hallmark!

Eeeks another Monday! It's a good Monday though with my house clean and the washing done - I can create most of the day. Today I made an easy peasy Halloween card using C.C. Designs rubber stamps and dies.

Zig Clean Color Real Brush

Happy Hump Day!

I had so much fun today creating this card. For the first time EVER - I water colored. It was so easy using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers!  These markers come in 80 colors and you can either buy them individually or by sets. They have a super fine point brush tip that blends so easily - it's fun! You can use a water brush and even Wink of Stella Glitter Markers to blend the colors which gives it a glittery look.

First, I would love to thank Jennifer McGuire on her awesome Youtube video's on using the Clean Color Real Brushes - I even bought the same image she demonstrated with -"A New Day by Wplus9 Design.  I stamped my image using VersaMark Ink Pad by Tsukineko and wet embossed using Super Fine Embossing Powder by Ranger and heat set it.  I was able to color and blend with ease the very first time using the brushes.  On some areas of the image I used only the color brush with no water added for a more vibrant color. My favorite thing - Easy Peasy. I can't wait to color again with them!

And, don't forget to enter your cards into the 7 Kids College Challenge blog for a chance to win a $20.00 gift certificate - which will help you buy these awesome brushes!

La-La Land Gone Fishing

Wow, I cannot believe summer is officially over - well, not according to the calendar, but when school goes back, swimming pools close, and there are no kids playing outside- to me summer is over:(  I love fall with all its splendid colors and fresh cool air wearing sweaters and jeans. I cannot stand when the time gets turned back and the days are so much shorter.

It's Wednesday so we are starting a new challenge over at 7 Kids College Fund challenge blog! It's your favorite type of  too - Anything Goes!  Did you win a gift certificate on the last challenge? If not give it a shot on this one!

My grandsons birthday is this month and he loves to fish like his father! I think he was preordained to love it since his middle name is Fisher and yes, he was named that because of his father's love of the sport. This photo was taken when he was only five - 3 years ago!

Rory - What's Up? C.C. Design

Hi Everyone! I am sharing two C.C.Design cards today! I'll tell ya - vacations are wonderful but sure throw you backwards in trying to catch up with your work! Below is Rory from C.C. Design Rubber Stamps August Collection! I wasn't sure what I wanted to do first - make a halloween scene or a general card, so I did both! I colored Rory with Zig Clean Color Real Brushes - it will take me a little practice but I love the bold color of purple that I was unable to accomplish using Copic Markers. Everything else is colored with Copics.

My second card is created using Devilish Nancy also from C.C. Designs Rubber Stamps August Collection
