DT Party Time Tuesday!

Hello everyone! Did you have a great Halloween? We had over 150 children! I made up 60 little bags of candy for my grandchildren, Abbie and Andrew's preschool and wasn't home in time from my parents to mail them.  So I gave them first to the neighborhood kids and within 20 minutes all 60 bags were GONE!  Panic mode set in, but we had enough!

Ohmygosh, I have to tell ya what DH did!! We bought mix bags of candy and the other night, I walked into the living room and there was a big pile of candy wrappers. He looked at me and said "you know tonight they had on the news about certain candy bars not being good for the children and parents should throw them away, they have too many calories" as he pops another one in his mouth and he continued saying "so I am just saving the children!" I thought I was going to pee my pants!! What a hoot!

Several fun announcements today!! My card is for Party Time Tuesday. PTT is a  Birthday Card Challenge Blog with new challenges every Tuesday.  This week is anything goes so come on and join us, we all need birthday cards!! TIP OF THE DAY:  Your digital ink bleeds when using Copics.  Several ways you can correct this!

  • Change your print quality to fast draft mode. How to do this: Click print, on the next screen  preferences, next screen click on print quality and change it to fast draft. Everyone should be priniting on this mode for it will save your ink BIG time!
  • Heat set it for several moments.
  • Let it dry overnight before coloring.
  • As soon as your image comes out of the printer, put clear embossing powder on it, click all the extra embossing powder off by turning it over and flicking it with your thumb then heat set.
Have a great day and see you tomorrow!!  Big thank you for stopping by today! Hugzzzzz

Gorgeous card Colleen! And thanks for those printing tips - I am just getting started with Copics, and don't have a laser printer at home. I will definitely put these to use when I get to that point (if I make it that far LOL!).
