Hi everyone! Hope you enjoyed the holidays and wishing you a very blessed new year.
I have been MIA for the past few weeks, and even though I don't have anything to post, I wanted to tell you why. On Christmas my mother told me my father was ill in bed and had the chills. I only spoke to him for a few short moments and he kept telling me how cold he was. On Dec. 27 he was diagnosed with pneumonia and admitted to the hospital. December 29 they told him he was in renal failure, he was 89 years old and refused dialysis. He was discharged from the hospital to home on December 30, the same days my brothers and I arrived at my parents home. He died December 31 at 7:25 AM.
I am still in a state of shock and cannot believe this has happened.
If you are a subscriber to TTCRD Magazine - please know I am putting it together - just a little bit slowly this time around.

Oh my dear Colleen, thinking of you honey during this very sad time. For me, 18 months later, it still seems unreal. Sending love and hugs, Sharon xxx
Sending you a hug of comfort, since no words can support you in these times. May you also be comforted by God's presence.

Colleen,
Just had to stop by and tell you how deeply sorry I am for the loss of your father. Sorry I have not been by before but thought you would of had tons of emails. Praying your Mom and you are doing fine it is so had on the living. It is always so hard to loose someone no matter how old they are. Lost my Mom when she was 56 years old and my Dad when he was 79. So be strong for you Mom she will need you. God bless you girlfriend.
Hugs, Patricia
Sending prayers of peace. May your fond memories help you through this time of sadness.
I am sorry for your loss. Take things one day at a time. Your mom & brothers need you as much as you you need them. Be there for each other as much as possible.
Prayers for all of you.

Of course I knew about your father's passing, but not the details until reading this. I am so sorry, Colleen, that you had to go through this; but I am so happy you were able to make it there before he passed.
Hoping that each day the pain recedes a tiny bit more. Sending you much love and big hugs, Penny
