Happy Sunday!! Just Chill'n

Happy Saturday everyone!! I love, love this weather!! Omgosh, it stayed in the 70's all night long and I had all the bedroom windows open! What a beautiful morning it was with the sun shining and a very slight breeze blowing the sheers! Ah, I was in heaven!!

Today I would love to share with you  "Just Chill'n!" from the Sweet Meets Sassy Collection by Victoria Case designed exclusively for SCACD. ! Isn't she a baby doll? My hubby asked why did I put "Sweet" as the sentiment. My response was "If I had a body like that, drink in my hand while sitting on the beach....that would be "sweet!"

    Happy Wednesday



    Happy Wednesday everyone!! I am in Pittsburgh and it is cold and rainy and I feel it clear to my bones! Monday,  my 3 year old grandson, Andrew had his tonsils and adenoids removed and tubes put in his ears. He is having a tough time of it, He won't drink and eat and needs the IV to keep him hydrated. Today he was up walking around but still refuses to put anything in his mouth that requires swallowing. Hopefully tomorrow will be better for him. I want him to come home!

    My card was made over a month ago for The Outlawz party! That was a really good party!!

    My image is an image I found on the web with the search words "cowgirl" and she is a coloring page for children...isn't she a hoot!! I asked DH to think of a sentiment and I just love what he came up with!!

    My design paper is digital paper!! First time I have printed and used digital and love it! I purchased it  from  Peppermint Creative You. It's pretty cool for you can print out the size you need perfectly to the fraction of an inch...how cool is that! I cute the boots from the paper and added a healthy dose of Viva Gloss Gel

    Scarlett Bonita


    Hello and happy Friday everyone! Wow this week went fast didn't it? This is the last week of early sunsets and starting Sunday longer days!! Yehaw!! I can't wait for I so hate it when it get dark early. One time I totally forgot to set the clocks ahead and arrived at church as everyone was coming out!! My DH and I used to argue every single spring about how to set the clocks until I gave my clue away to him!!  Spring forward (Springtime clocks go ahead an hour) and Fall back! (Fall season you turn them back an hour!) Easy peasy!! LOL     


    Have you been over to SCACD  to see the new Victoria Case collections yet. Yesiree! Two new collections: Sweet meets Sassy!!  I  love both of these collections! Modern vs Retro women! Below this posting, you can see Mrs. Cleaver!! Yeppers, that would be the Beaver's mom...at least that is what she reminds us of! The one I am using today is Scarlett Bonita!! Isn't she gorgeous! Oh I had fun making her today. You know how some cards just take you  all day to make?!! When I was finally done I said to my sweet, loving hubby "Well, Whatcha think?"  He looked at it and said "boring"  What? What do you mean boring? He said the whole thing was too blah! LMBO  So I hurried up and photograph it and sent it to two friends, who I know would give me very honest opinions!! Both wrote back "GORGEOUS!!" So my friends it's your decision! I changed a few things around and added some color and you tell me which one, out of the two do you like the best!!

    SCACD Release Day!!

    Hello everyone! Most of you probably thought I fallen off the face of the earth and in many ways I feel as though I have!! I went to visit my mother and father in Arizona and my mom's internet was not the greatest so I have lots of cards to post!

    I have an awesome announcement to make!! SCACD is having two new stamp collections today!! Yes two!!     My Victoria Case stamp is from the Retro Crew Collection! Mrs. Cleaver!! Remember Leave it To Beaver and Mrs. Cleaver wore dresses just like this one!! I love her face with the retro dress! I won't be surprise if it becomes back in style like everything else has. Doesn't she have the prettiest face. The expression "coffee, tea or me" goes perfect with her coffee pot and endearing look!


    Love, love my new  BoBunny Crush 6 x 6 paper pad! Every page is yummy! Susana has lots and lots of new off the press 6 x 6 pads. Each one is gorgeous! I also bought the BoBunny Trinkets with each pad! Love, love them.

    I added Viva Decor  Gloss Gel Pen to the coffee pot to make it shiny. Hard to see in the picture and also Diva Decor Glitter pen to her shoes. This glitter pen has a very bright glittery shine to it.

    Have you wanted to sew and didn't want to buy a sewing machine? Well let me tell yea! You don't need a sewing machine if you have Sew Easy!  The rotary stitch piercer creates perfectly spaced aligned holes that can easily be stitched up. I should have pulled my stitching a little bit tighter. Easy peasy to use!

    Teddy Stampers Happy Birthday!

     Hello my friends! As you know I am at my parents home in Arizona and  enjoying being with them! Let me tell ya though going from 20's degree weather to 80's in a few hours is way too much! I love the hot weather compared to home but I am roasting here. When the sun goes down, I swear the temperature drops a degree a minute for it sure gets cold! My mom said "oh my it's going down to the 60's Friday...I laugh for back home that would feel pretty warm to us!

    Today my card is made for  Teddy Stampers challenge and we Jershua challenged us to make our cards pink, white and brown which just so happens to be one of my favorite color groups and I was tickle pink (pun!!) it was what she picked!  To enter the challenge you also must have a teddy bear somewhere on your card or creation.

    My image is by one of my favorite artist, Victoria Case. Just look at that sweet face! I love the expression she has looking at her new teddy bear! I love how this card turned out! I colored her with my copics and used Nestabilites to cut out my scallop oval. Prima roses were added and my punch is by Martha Steward. I am sorry I don't have my copic numbers or name of the punch for I forgot to write them down before I left home.

    SCACD Go Green

    Hello Friends!! I arrived in Arizona this week to visit my parents for two weeks! I have the most awesome parents who have been my best friends forever! Literally forever!! I am very fortunate to have them in my life, my dad will be 88 in May and my mother is 84!  They are VERY independent  and make dang sure you are aware of it!!  My mom was insulted I carried the grocery bad into the house.."I can do that you know" is what I heard!! You gotta love them!  I do miss my hubby and dogs and wish my entire family was not spread out across the USA. It sure makes it hard,Oh well (sigh)...

    This week's challenge at SCACD,  Suzanne challenge us to use something recycle on our projects. I was not very creative with this and ended up using old card stock! 

    I used "Fresh Pick"  by Carmen Medley in the Reflections 2 series. I just love this image! I colored her with my Copics. I put some "Stardust" Stickles on the flowers she is holding and her hat. My rose is  Prima! 
    and Susana has the most prettiest colors of roses. Check them out!!

    Happy Friday Everyone!!

    Did you have a good week? Was it me or did this week drag out? Funny we complain when time flies and complain when it goes slow! We are creatures by habit!

    It's 3:30 AM so I am going to keep this post rather short! Yep, it's my insomnia week, but I am starting to feel sleepy and don't want to waste it!! KWIM! If  you suffer from insomnia you do!

    I am so proud to present this beautiful stamp on my card today! It is "Blowing Kisses" made exclusively by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD! She is so adorable!

    I used a new product! Clearsnap Double-Sided Adhesive Stickers - Flourishes!  So easy to use!  Peel off the backing paper. Place the design on your work piece. The transparent top sheet lets you position it perfectly. Gently rub the design with your fingertips, and then lift off the top sheet. Perfect for use with embossing powder, glitter, foil, leafing, micro beads, pigment powders and flocking. You can't see mine very well because of the lighting and I used Red glitter on pink and red paper...duh? Ok, I was in a hurry to see them work and was extremely please!! They are in the upper left and lower right hand corner. I sprinkle with glitter and was good to go!  They come in flourishes of all sizes!  I love easy peasy!!

    I tried something different today coloring with Copics and not sure if I like it. I think I need more practice. I  wetted the image with colorless blender and then colored  using my blender pen marker to pick up color off of a palate. I like the dark edges a lot!  Even though the top of the dress had darts, I wished I wouldn't have brought the dark up so far. Isn't she a beautiful image! I just love her!

    SCACD New Releases Hop

    Happy Friday everyone! Gee this week went fast didn't it? Maybe it's because, I have been having too much fun playing with not one, not two  but 3 brand new releases at SCACD. Who are the crafty artists this time?!! Elisabeth Bell, Victoria Case and Carmen Medlin!  The stamps are gorgeous and you can see them by following the SCACD hop!!  Warning: Be prepared...your going to want them all!!

    SCACD Exciting News!

    Hello crafty friends! Are you in the ice area? I need and trying to get to Pittsburgh and it isn't happening. Right now it is raining hard with the temperatures dropping rapidly at the same time. Horrible winter for over half the states. You know it is icy when your dogs can't walk on the payments and slide around on top of the snow. Geeesh.

    I have awesome, exciting news and I want to tell ya how it transpired! If you follow me you are aware I created a new challenge site, The Outlawz and was designing it for a few weeks. One night I received a phone call from Susana from SCACD. Susana and I have conversed several times via email and phone calls and I thought  "she is so sweet to check up on me!"  We spoke for a few minutes and she said "I would like to ask you to design for me?" well, I had been designing the Challenge site and helping a few people design their blogs, so I said; "Design what?"  She replied "on my design team" ...LMBO!   When it sunked into my thick skull what she was asking,  I couldn't talk!! My eye became all teary and started fumbling for words. For you see this has been my dream forever! I love Susana! She is so awesome and sweetest person and I just love her store, Susana Custom Card and Art Designs and known as SCACD 

    I love this stamp from the Elisabeth Bell collection Animapeeps made exclusively for SCACD. This is FAB friends! I love the look of love between the fox and ladybug...how cute is that?!!

    Happy Birthday

    Hello happy crafters! Are you tired of winter yet? I am way over it and counting the days until Spring!  My favorite seasons are Spring, when everything comes back to life and Fall with brisk cold mornings and vivid colors everywhere! I surely will take summer over winter any day of the week.

    Today is another fun birthday challenge over at The Outlawz and this week we are doing hearts and ribbon! If you haven't visited us yet....you need to come see!     Happy Birthday and GO STEELERS!

    Hello happy crafting friends!  GO STEELERS!! You can take the girl out of the city, but you cannot take the black and gold out of the girl!! We are going to the Super Bowl!! Yahooo!

    This week for the Birthday Card challenge I choose RED being the primary color! You should see the awesome cards the design team created!  The members creations just knock me off of my feet!     It has been over a year since I colored a Tilda image and I had to much fun with her! No matter how much I practice, I still have problems coloring pleats!  Hope you love her!

    Teddy Stampers

    Good morning friends! Today is another fabulous challenge at Teddy-Stampers and it's our favorite type of challenge "Any thing goes!"  This week we have wonderful images to work with from Ellephantastic, who is also sponsoring the challenge!!     Gosh, I have really been busy at The Outlawz, which is a new site I have created. We have 7 different challenges and since they are weekly...it enables us to give you a brand new challenge every day of the week! Come on over and join the fun!!     Life is a picnic! DT call

    Good Afternoon everyone! What kind of weather are you having where you are? We have been down into the 20's a few times and only about 2 inches of snow this season. All in all it is not bad!  Gosh, I have really been busy at The Outlawz, which is a new site I have created. We have 7 different challenges and since they are weekly...it enables us to give you a brand new challenge every day of the week! Come on over and join the fun!!     Today card is done with a Boyd's Teddy Bear Rubber Stamp. I found a whole slew of them over on E-bay a long time ago! And, I love the sentiment "Life is a picnic!" isn't that the truth!

    The Outlawz Opening Day

    Hello everyone! Today, one of my dreams came true, because my new Crafting Community went live!! I created a place where a different challenge is offered every day of the week! A place where you can chat away with one another, enter 7 different challenges, win prizes, and a whole lot more.  I have the most awesome DT ever who has worked hard to make this all possible!! Our community started with 17 women who needed a home to be together and so the The Outlawz was created by me. My dear friends followed me and now we are bringing our corral to you. So come on and join The Outlawz Girlz!  The eight challenges we offer are:

    Sunday: Clean and Simple
    Monday: Birthday Cards
    Tuesday: Color
    Wednesday: Sketch
    Thursday: Prisma and Other Mediums
    Friday: Copic
    Saturday: Scrapbooking

    All new members will be entered into a random drawing on January 16 to win A  $20.00 gift certificate to Susana Custom Art and Card Design Store! How cool is that?  As you know, Susana's store (SCACD)  is one of my most favorite places to shop for my crafting needs! Check her store out...  she has everything from rubber stamps to bling!  

    For the first challenge at The Outlawz and it is a Birthday Card Challenge. My favorite challenge blog ever was Party Time Tuesdays, where you made a birthday card every week. For personal obligations they had to close the doors. At The Outlawz we can do it again.  The Birthday Challenge is where you must have a birthday sentiment on the front of your card along with the challenge. This week it is "ANYTHING GOES" Yehaaw our favorite kind!! So come on and visit us down at the corral!

    I created an easel card using a Victoria Case image, which was exclusively created for SCACD! Her name is Little Marti! Is she not a baby doll? VC is one of my all time artist and you can see her other creations here!

    Teddy Stampers Celebration & DT call

    Who remembers Kool And The Gang 1980 song "Celebration"  One of my all times favorites! So glad you stopped in so I can tell you a very belated "Happy New Year!"  to the Teddy-Bear Stampers gang and everyone else, I have not had the pleasure of saying it to yet!


    Today is the first challenge for the Teddy-Bear Stampers  and the recipe is you must have a teddy bear somewhere on your card and this week is Celebrations! Mine card will be for my granddaughter's birthday celebration and the Celebrating my first Challenge blog, see below!!     The Outlawz Girlz



    Hello everyone! Gosh, I have missed all of you and wondering what you have been up to! I have been very busy creating a fun place for everyone to go to! This site is hassle free, fun, loving, a bunch of the gabbiest gabbers  and much more. We also have a page dedicated to other challenges and with a click you are able to go visit with them. Our brand new site is called  "The Outlawz" and will be live  Monday. We currently have five challenges for you to enter!! After you join the challenge group you can bookmark the site and go directly to the challenge without having to go onto the main site!! You will have to come check it out on Monday! It is free membership and you do not need to be approve to join! How easy is that!! I will be posting a card later today, but wanted to get this info to you!!
