Hello, happy crafters!  Today is the start of a brand new  7 Kids College Fund  Challenge blog and the theme is 'Anything Goes'.  You can enter your cards or projects to the challenge for a chance to win a $20.00 gift certificate! Who didn't love Whiney the Pooh when they were growing up or watching it with your children or their children. My girls always had to have their bears with them. My bow covers up the signature of the sentiment and, of course, it's one of Whiny Pooh's phrases "A day without a friend is like a pot without a single drop of honey left inside." How true is that?  These two cuddly bears are adorable!

I am going to start my tips of the day again! It's been awhile since I have done it. 

Tip of the day! What to do if you over fill your Copic marker with Various Ink. Remove the broad nib and blow gently into the marker. Make sure you do this over a trash bag so not to ruin any of your projects. 

C.C.Designs Easter Lucy and Easter Funnies

Happy Monday everyone! I'm sitting here watching it snow!  How many more days until spring? I mostly can't wait until the we go back to daylight savings time and then I'll feel like spring is just around the corner.

I have two creations to share with you today using images from C.C.Designs February Release. Did you see the new release yet? Oh my goodness they are all adorable! Plus, we have brand new scallop Circle dies and sweet sentiments for  you.

My first project is using Easter Lucy and I have her on the outside of an Easter basket created with the Cameo Silhouette.

And next creation is a card using the chickies from the Easter Funnies Clear Stamps. I am so happy C.C. Designs switch from rubber to clear stamps! They stamp beautifully and much easier to line up your sentiments and storage.

Winter Wonderland - Star Wonder

Hello there! Did you ever think it was one day and it really was the next and didn't realize it until 9 PM at night? Oh my gosh, that is a weird feeling. LOL and then you wonder what happen to the day you thought it was!  This made me think of the song by Napoleon and I can't get these 2 verses out of my head!! I am going crazy and they will be coming for me soon!!

They're coming to take me away, Ha-ha

To the funny farm
Where life is beautiful all the time
And I'll be happy to see those

Funny how our memory triggers certain thoughts out of the blue!

Any way back on tract here.  Today is the start of a brand new challenge at  Winter Wonderland.!  For the first two months of the year, it is not required to make a Christmas Card. The theme this week is "Have a heart"  so your creation must have a heart on it.

Week 2: I Heart You by Penny Black

Happy Wednesday! Winter Wonderland Pastel Colors

Hello! Today I am show casing my card for the Winter Wonderland Challenge! The theme is pastel colors and it is being sponsored by Di's Digital Stamps.  Come join the fun! Until March it is not require to have a Christmas/Holiday theme. However, I want a big jump on my Christmas cards this year so I am not panicing on Dec. 15 that my cards aren't in the mail! 

I chose Mistletoe Kiss for my image and think these two bears are totally adorable with the girl holdingthe mistletoe over their heads! Where you ever kiss under the mistletoe? My hubby kissed me our first Christmas when we were dating. I was working in the ER and was kind of embarressed but everyone was laughing at me - including the head nurse!

Hello! Sitting here waiting for the storm to come. We are suppose to be getting a terrific snow storm starting on Friday with 18 -24 inches! YIKES - I guess I can't really complain for we have not had any snow this winter. I do love the first heavy wet snowfall. When it sticks to the tree's and no one has track through it yet.

Winter Wonderland Challenge - LaLa Land - Luka

They are all Christmas challenges and I thought it was a good way to keep me making my Christmas cards all year. I used this adorable stamp from La-La Land Crafts name "Luka" - he just makes me smile big time.

My second post for the day! Wowzie, I need a lot of credit for two!

I am just loving this January release! Not only are the stamps adorable, die cuts are fabulous to make cards with and the 6 x 6 paper pad is super yummy with beautiful colors  I am sharing Valentine Henry with heart and flowers to ask his gal to be his valentine! Precious :)

  I fussy cut his hat with the grey paper with white dots I  and shaded it with Copic Markers.

Wild Rose Studio - Teddy In A Pot!

Ekkks two more sleep nights and it's Christmas! Are you ready? Is your tree done, presents wrapped, baking done?  I'm not - tomorrow is going to be a very busy day. 6 of our grandchildren live in other states and they are either preteens or teens. What do I buy, what do I buy? Then I remember the year I received money for Christmas and went to mall to shop. Everything was on SALE - I was in my glory buying my own clothes and getting so much more. Yep, they all were given money and I think they will be quite happy:)

Will you be home on Christmas? We will be going 2 hours south to my daughters home. Abbie and Andrew are 8 and 10 this year so it's still magic watching their faces! They say they believe there is a Santa, but me thinks they're at the age, they're afraid to say they don't believe just incase there really is one!

Hi Everyone! I did it! I made a card just because I wanted to!  I love this sweet, sweet image "Happy Twila" from C.C. Designs Rubber Stamps.  Just totally adorable! 

Today, I started a new kind of diary. Instead of writing all the events of the day - I am going to write what made me smile and thankful, even if  I only write one thing. I saw a video on doing this here. The goal is to look at your life differently. To focus on what is good to you., what made you smile, what did you miss by not looking at your surroundings. Today I wrote: Bill (hubby) carried the spare bedroom comforter upstairs from the laundry room and made the rest of the bed. He always makes sure I have coffee and Yogurt. This made me realize how much love he shows by the little things he does. Anyway, that is my goal and new year's revolution!
